Trial fit of main gear and wheel and brake assemblies. (Mounting plates arrived by Express Post today.) Main gear mounting bolts appear too short, due to poor fitting of mounting plates on floor of cockpit. I will ask Peter Karanges for opinion on how much fibreglass can be safely sanded back to achieve a satisfactory fit. (This is unclear in the construction manual.)
Brake master cylinder and brake lever installed. Sleeve for parking brake ratchet remains to be made. Brake hoses will be left untillater in construction.
