Tried heating nose gear mount to 250 degrees Celsius as per Loctite 620 product info, but machined screws did not loosen, and sheared during attempted removal.
Rubber grease on both flap rod and aileron drive rod has hardened, and in case of flap rod has completely seized rod.
Aileron drive removed and cleaned. Reinstalled and moves well. Flap cross rod heated by inserting copper pipe both sides and heating copper pipe with butane torch (and cross rod by conduction). Cross rod removed and hardened flock/red rubber grease lightly sanded off. Mount block hole cleaned and lightly sanded. Rod reinserted and noted to rotate freely.
Nose wheel and nose leg assembled, and bearing spacers and axle bonded with Loctite 480.
Elevator cable installed and anchored on control column.
Installation of left front door hinge commenced.
Only six large Tinnerman washers noted to be left. Although three screw holes are marked for each door, only two appear to be mentioned in the manual.
