Left front door hung and door seal applied. Right front door hinge installed.
Nose gear assembled and suspension rubbers compressed and installed.
Steering pushrods assembled and 19mm holes drilled through firewall. Trial fit of complete nose gear including steering pushrods. Rudder pedal bar keepers needed to be removed to allow rudder pedal assembly to be aligned with push rods, as the predrilled holes in the rudder pedal mounts are slightly out. Rudder mounts will need to be packed with flock to raise pedals approx 4mm to align with pushrod holes.
For future reference, half moon keepers should not be fitted until the steering pushrod assembly is fitted. Also, there are no instructions or drawings for actually fitting the pushrods. A sleeve needs to be fashioned from 1/4 inch bundy tube to allow 3/16 inch bolts to fit properly in the 1/4 inch hole in the rod end bearing on the pedal end of each push rod.
Dry bulb: 27 degrees, RH: 65% Qty 100g workable at least 1/2 hour. Flocked nose gear bushes, aft elevator cable clamp shim, hand brake stop.
Time: 7 hours
Total Time: 93 hours
