Countersunk lower cowl piano hinge rivet holes. Accidentally bored 2cm hole right lower cowl with countersinking bit (Whoops!). Flocked and glassed defect - now better than before!
Flocked and glassed mixer box outlet and fitted scat tube from mixer box to carby.
Don at Jabiru suggested shapening the hinge pins to make them follow the curve of the cowl better when installing. This, together with lightly greasing them, worked well.
Enlarged elevator control cable clamp holes in console to better fit Tinnerman washers.
Made trial alloy plate to achieve required maximum elevator up travel of 19 degrees, as cable rod ends could not be undone further.
Rivetted oil cooler brackets to sump.
Time: 7 hours
