Rivetted hinge leaf for oil inspection hatch to cowl. Hatch assembled but will require modification due to insufficient clearance between cowl and ram air duct.
Brass barbs screwed into oil cooler with Loctite 577. Oil cooler attached to brackets with 3/16 inch bolts. Sleeves for rubber grommets made from concentric lengths of quarter inch and three eighth inch bundy pipe. Extension piece and oil cooler adapter fitted to oil filter, and oil hoses and fire sleeves installed.
Completed painting of air filter box.
Naca duct flocked to lower cowl. Unable to be fitted level with air intake of air filter as per manual, because piano hinges occupy this spot in the new cowl design.
