Flocked rear seat pan.
Phoned Michael at Jabiru to check that mag ventilation tubes are OK behind baffle in ram air ducts. No problem, as latest mags seem more heat resistant than a previous batch of red coloured ones from Honda, and also an extra baffle is often placed in front of the existing one, so air flow must still be sufficient behind a baffle.
Made aluminium brackets to stabilise lower panel.
More work done on header tank mounting.
Phoned Paul at Jabiru. Ordered extra LC3600 hardener. Also asked about mounting of right side fuel gauge and left side fuel hose routing, as it appears to pass through the door hinges. He rang later to advise that the prototype (VH-BNP) had two channels in front of the rear door, and no ridge under the right fuel gauge. I will epoxy some 1/4" SS tube as a fuel pipe in the door pillar, and build up under the gauge with glass plate and flock.
