Completed hinge assembly for oil inspection hatch. Installed striker plate for Camloc latch as per Jabiru instructions, but found that the plate needs to be flush with underside of hatch. I have cut out a 40mm x 20mm piece of fibreglass from the hatch recess and will flock a 3mm thick plate of fibreglass underneath it, creating a recess for the striker plate. I will use a slightly thicker piece of stainless steel than that supplied, which will be stronger, and thick enough to countersink some 3/32 rivets for fastening it to the recess in the glass.
Completed left cowl hing pin retainer. Will need to build up mount for camlock quarter turn socket with flock.
